Davis Michaelsen began his career at Pro Farmer in 2012 as a freelance reporter and was shortly thereafter named Editor of The Inputs Monitor. Michaelsen later joined Chip Flory on AgriTalk Radio where he continues to serve as the news anchor. In 2018, Michaelsen assumed the duties of the then retiring Mike Walsten as the Editor of Pro Farmer’s LandOwner Newsletter. In 2024, Michaelsen added the Grow Getters podcast to Farm Journal’s stable of offerings on youtube and other podcast platforms. Raised on a Grundy County Iowa farm, Michaelsen brings a passion for farm country and a seasoned view on the markets, land, inputs and entrepreneurship.
