
Chloe (Hagen) Novak, Ph.D., is a swine nutritionist with Vita Plus, supporting pork producers and feed mills across Wisconsin and Illinois. She works directly with farms to develop practical nutrition and management strategies that support pig health and protect profitability. She also provides technical leadership to the Vita Plus swine team, helping translate research into solutions that work on slat-level systems.
Novak earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees from Iowa State University, where her research focused on the connection between nutrition and pig health. With a strong interest in weaned pig health and a commitment to producer success, she is dedicated to bridging the gap between science and real-world production. Her research background and field experience help producers make informed, cost-effective decisions that improve performance and profitability.
