She also provides technical leadership to the Vita Plus swine team, helping translate research into solutions that work on slat-level systems.

Novak earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees from Iowa State University, where her research focused on the connection between nutrition and pig health. With a strong interest in weaned pig health and a commitment to producer success, she is dedicated to bridging the gap between science and real-world production. Her research background and field experience help producers make informed, cost-effective decisions that improve performance and profitability.
