Dr. Shawn Conley is a Professor of Agronomy and the State Soybean and Small Grain Specialist at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. As leader of the UW BeanTeam research program, Dr. Conley works with researchers, industry partners, and farmers to develop science-based solutions that improve soybean and small grain productivity, profitability, and sustainability across the Midwest.

Throughout his career, Dr. Conley has authored or co-authored more than 140 refereed research articles, secured over $7.5 million in research funding, and presented at more than 800 agricultural events reaching nearly 65,000 growers and industry professionals. His research helps farmers across the US make informed decisions and respond accordingly to real-world problems.
