With more than 18 years of experience in product development and portfolio management across the food and agriculture industries, Brian has worked to connect science and sustainability with real-world impact. Before joining USB, he held leadership and technical roles with DuPont and Tate & Lyle, successfully bringing new technologies from the lab to the marketplace. He holds a Ph.D. in Bioprocess Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, where his research focused on creating additional value from soy processing waste products.

Brian Pierce leads the United Soybean Board’s work to expand opportunities for U.S. soybean farmers through new product innovation. As Senior Vice President of Strategy Operations & Industrial Innovation, he oversees teams focused on developing new industrial uses for soy, managing research investments, and driving projects that bring farmer-funded innovations to market.
