Kroll grew up on a dairy farm in NE Wisconsin.  He attended the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and earth science.  Kroll has worked in the solid waste field for more than twenty years.  Currently, he has been an Advanced Waste Management Specialist for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for more than eight years, stationed in the Green Bay service center.  He is part of the  non-landfill team and specializes in animal carcass disposal.  He is a certified subject matter expert in animal carcass composting and have worked on multiple mass mortality disposal events.
