Gretchen Kuck serves as the Washington, D.C.-based economist for the National Corn Growers Association. Kuck has a technical background in commodity markets, holding a bachelor’s and master’s of science in agricultural and applied economics, but considers her greatest strength the ability to translate data into information that others-from farmers to policymakers- can use to make the best decisions possible. Gretchen brings the perspective of having served as an economist for USDA, where she worked on the WASDE, and as a subject matter expert supporting the U.S. Department of State analyzing economic and national security issues facing U.S. agriculture.
