Jan tenBensel

Jan tenBensel, of Cambridge, Nebraska, is a fourth-generation corn grower who also grows some wheat, soy and sorghum. Much of Jan’s harvest each year is turned into ethanol, making him knowledgeable of the economic and environmental value of the biofuel and the importance of good public policy that will help to support its sale. He also ships wet corn to the local feedlot.

TenBensel is passionate about promoting ethanol as a valuable market for corn producers. With 30 years of experience advocating for ethanol, he has a deep understanding of the industry.

He has also served as chair of the NCGA Biofuels Action Team, a member of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association Board and chair of the Nebraska Ethanol Board.
