Sarah McKay is director of research and market development at the National Corn Growers Association, where she works to expand demand for U.S. corn through new uses and emerging markets. Her work focuses on advancing biobased products—including renewable chemicals, materials, and plastics—that use corn as a key feedstock. McKay collaborates across the value chain, from farmers and technology developers to investors, industry partners, and policymakers, to move innovative ideas from concept to commercialization. She also leads national research initiatives that strengthen agriculture’s role in the growing bioeconomy.
